This is a nine minute synopsis of a fairly typical campaign event here in New Hampshire- the so-called "town hall" style meeting. It clearly shows the importance and seriousness candidates and Granite Staters give to the first in the Nation primary. The video was filmed during Republican wannabee John McCain's Tuesday visit here to the hometown of the 'Grok-- Gilford, NH. Witnessing the 300 plus person crowd recite the Pledge of Allegiance prior to the start of the event reveals the respect NH citizens have for the whole process. The close personal contact NH famously offers candidates and prospective voters is quite evident throughout.
