Liveblogging the Republican Debate from the Media Center, Manchester, NH [Scroll Down to next post for updates]
6:00PM--- Live from... a big gym, many hundreds of feet from where the debate will actually occur- it's the NH Republican debate! We are located in the CNN Media Press Center, which consists of hundreds of seats, tables, media people, and a great many TV monitors. While excited to be a part of the spectacle as a proud member of the New Media, I'm not sure if I will get to see more, or less of the overall procedings as the night moves on. Perhaps like a football game or NASCAR race, I'll discover that the viewer at home gets a far better view of the whole affair than those in attendance. We'll have to wait and see.

Like earlier today at the McCain event we attended in Gilford, we have been welcomed and treated as if we were some "bigtime" news org, which is pretty awesome. The reaction that comes from people when told, "we're bloggers," is always interesting, with looks often akin to that on the faces of spectators staring at some bizarre species at the zoo-- running from curiosity to fear, and everything in between.
